If you’re in the fire right now, embrace it!

There will be times in your life where you will literally feel like you are walking through the fire.

Things will fall apart.

The dark night of the soul will last a lot longer than you want it to.

It will feel like everything is spiralling out of control; as though no matter how hard you try, you simply cannot get anything to work out.

And this is because … the flames of this fire are trying to burn away what is old, what no longer serves you on your journey.

It’s important to understand that you are not meant to have any control over this process.

On the contrary, it is your job to simply surrender.

You’ll rub up against your inner ‘control freak’, the part of you who doesn’t like this feeling of having no grip upon the events in your life.

And you will be forced to deeply realise that no matter how hard you try to ‘hold things together’, something things are simply meant to fall apart.

It’s in the falling apart, in the fire, that we learn to let go. And we learn that life has an intelligence of its own, an intelligence that is trying to flow though us – if we would only get out of our own way!

As we walk through the fire, we are forced to come back to ourselves, back to our soul, which is our only *true anchor* in this world.

As the flames sizzle around us, we are forced to reckon with every single illusion we have been living under, and let it all burn away.

If you are walking through the fire right now, embrace it, as painful as it is.

Because this process is quite literally the precursor to your rebirth.

Fire is a transformative element; metaphorically, think about what fire can truly do for you in your life. As ‘what was’ burns to the ground, you will eventually emerge from the ashes of your past life, energetically cleansed.

You cannot control the uncontrollable (life), so you may as well let go.

As someone who has very deeply been through this process myself in the past couple of years, and emerged on the other side – thriving! – I can honestly say that if you can just learn to trust the process, you will eventually be pleasantly surprised, as a new version of yourself comes into form.

Purged of all that truly needed to fall away, you will feel light, free, and resilient.

Having been to the depths and emerged to tell the tale, you will have a firm foundation of faith, because you saw firsthand how life always supported you, even when you had no control over ‘how’ that was going to happen.

Hold on, because this process is on purpose.

You are not alone – life has your back, life loves you, and life is giving you this opportunity to release it ALL, so that you can be born anew.

Love,

Beth
