I can relate.
My whole life, I have struggled with overwhelm, burnout, stress-related hormonal imbalances, and severe depletion.
I was the most pleasing of all people pleasers; I would bend and break myself to make sure everything and everyone was ok, in an attempt to ’keep the peace’ and avoid conflict.
I was so over-available; for everyone except myself.
I used to give away energy that I didn’t even have to begin with, which left me permanently depleted (though no one would have known it, because I was always ‘happy’ on the outside).
My hormones suffered; I experienced severe monthly mood swings, my nervous system was stuck in sympathetic dominance, and my adrenals could no longer keep up with the stress.
I over-extended my resources (time, energy, money) over and over again, preferring to avoid the ‘guilt’ that came with saying no, and honouring what I really needed.
I was petrified of upsetting anyone, of someone not liking me, of people thinking that I was selfish for prioritising myself.
I could never understand why everyone else seemed to be able to ‘’cope’ with life, while I couldn’t.
I suddenly realised: all these other women actually aren’t really coping that well with life. They were surviving their lives – like I was – but, they weren’t really thriving.
Chronic and constant stress
Nervous system imbalance
Hair that falls out in clumps
Weight that won’t shift
Lack of fulfillment
A constant sense of drowning in one’s life
… the list goes on.
As I explored the struggles that we were all facing, I became really committed to changing my own life – so that I could help other women do the same. I was very much teaching what I, too, needed to learn.
I massively slowed down the pace of my life;
I learnt that to be ‘selfish’ in the pursuit of keeping myself healthy and well was so very necessary;
I nourished my body from the inside out to create the vitality that I craved;
and I (very slowly) started to accept that I could not continue to please everyone, if I ever wanted to truly heal.
There is one thing I know for sure:
In a world where we have more opportunities than ever before, we are drowning under the weight of everything that we have on our ‘life plates’ – landing us in a space of pain, hormonal disharmony, exhaustion, and disconnection.
Over the years as I have spoken to and worked with more and more women, I have become convinced that our people pleasing tendencies are at the very root of so many of these issues.
Our unconscious desire for approval, acceptance, love and validation from outside of us, causes us to overcommit our precious energy, over and over and over again – until we end up existing as a shell of our former selves.
That old adage is so very, very true:
You just can’t. It’s not a sustainable equation.
I have watched many, many women (including myself), hit a point of such depletion that it is dangerous – because once your energetic and hormonal reserves run that low, it can be almost impossible to heal without truly STOPPING. And most women simply aren’t willing to stop.
It often takes a serious rock bottom moment (illness, injury, trauma), a true cosmic wake-up call, to get us to finally listen.
We must break this cycle.
We must learn to prioritise our precious energy (and other resources), above our to-do lists. Without needing to come crashing down to rock bottom.

Yes! Of course. I share the content in a way that makes sense to someone who has never even heard of them before. It is also relevant to women at any age and stage of life.
How long do I need to set aside to work through the content?
You can, of course, work through the material at your own pace over the 8 weeks (and beyond), however, I recommend setting aside 1.5-2 hours weekly so that you can watch the videos, read through the written content and work through the prompts I give you, and listen to the meditation.
Of course, my intention for you over this 8 weeks (and beyond), is that you can make deep and lasting change and transformation. When you sign up for the course, I give you suggestions of how to make the very most of everything within.
